Vauxhall City Farm is a registered charity and a project led farm, established in 1977 on derelict land. The farm is located off Kennington Lane, in London SE11. Public Transport is a short distance away, including Vauxhall Underground and mainline railway station. The farm also takes advantage of being located adjacent to the historic Spring Gardens.

The farm has a wide variety of animals for children to handle and groom. The farm also aims to provide a good quality of the environment for its animals and to maintain public interest. Approximately 12,000 children visit the farm each year.

The farm promotes social welfare and provides educational, recreational, and training opportunities for local residents, particularly disadvantaged young children and those with disabilities and special needs.

The site is congested and the existing facilities inhibit the achievement of the aims of this charity.

London ProHelp, a professional pro bono group, is providing a range of legal and business support for Vauxhall City Farm to facilitate its development.

We were appointed in March 2005 to help the management team to develop the brief, to prepare a masterplan, and to implement this.

This project was developed by the members of E&E Architects.
